La Hougue Bie offers the chance to explore thousands of years of Jersey history in one peaceful site. At its heart is an ancient Neolithic passage grave beneath a large mound, alongside museum displays, archaeological collections and outdoor areas.
One of the world’s oldest surviving buildings, with museum displays and a Neolithic passage grave. Seasonal hours apply, so check Jersey Heritage before visiting.
The main approach is step-free, although outdoor surfaces include gravel and grass and can be uneven. There is ramp access to the café and toilets; some parts of the site contain stairs with no lift.
