HALF-TERM • 26–30 OCTOBER
The school break lands right in Halloween week, so you can turn almost any day out into something a bit spooky.
Start with Jersey Zoo’s Halloween trail, then add costumes, face paint or a treat stop on the way home.
Jersey War Tunnels already has the atmosphere. Add a gloomy weather day and it basically plans itself.
Pick a woodland, castle, coastal path or old Jersey landmark and do an early-evening autumn walk before it gets too dark.
TRICK • TREAT • EAT
Do the scary bit first. Then recover somewhere warm.
Good Halloween combinations: hot chocolate after a trail • brunch before the zoo • early family dinner before trick-or-treating • cocktails or dinner before an adults-only scare.
Use Find.je’s Eat & Drink filters to pick the right place by cuisine, meal time and features.
